The Details: The role plays a major part in ensuring the mechanical systems of the plant are effective, supporting the company's position as a market leader. Process Improvement and Troubleshooting are your main concerns and you'll form part of a crack team to keep everything in shape.
You will scope out projects, find contractors, raise PO's, supervise, manage WHS, PPE, QA, corrections, sing off and invoice. The projects will range from simple upgrades to new machines to line expansions. You will be given the chance to work with so many people (externally and nationally).
Professional development will be available and they are actively seeking an ambitious person. Minimum we need from You: Mechanical Engineering Degree or Mechanical Trade Certificate with at least 3 years in Mechanical Engineering. This experience must also come from an Industrial, Manufacturing or Production environment.
Attitude - positive one at that. Look for solutions not problems, be innovative and focused on outcomes. Questions - ask them all the time, evidence how asking lots of questions has helped you so far in your career.
