About Department Barbara Walker Centre for Pain Management (BWCPM) is an established, accredited inter-disciplinary service that provides assessment, treatment and consultation for people with persistent pain in the tertiary health setting.

BWCPM sits within the Health Independence Programs (HIP) suite of services aimed at providing integrated and coordinated care to clients across the hospital and community interface. BWCPM has partnered with cohealth, one of Australia's largest community health organsiations, in a project to develop and deliver pain management services in the primary care setting. About the Role You will be supported as part of the BWCPM team whilst delivering services for clients at cohealth Footscray in the cohealth chronic pain program.

You will work with the proejct team to develop and deliver a chronic pain service model. You will be providing Psychology informed pain management assessments and delivering pain management treatments for individuals and groups. You will be working closely with physiotherapists and other allied health and medical professionals.

Classifications for this position will range from classification range Physiologist Grade 2 PK1 to PK4 ( $87,200 to $98,200 per annum). Duties Provide Psychology assessment, care planning and treatment (individual and group settings) for people with persistent pain Work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality pain management services in the primary care setting Participate in project planning, development, delivery and evaluation with the project team Qualifications, Skills and Experience Master of Doctorate of Psychology (Clinical or Health) as accredited by the Australian Psychological Society Current registration with AHPRA Endorsement as a Clinical or Health psychologist with AHPRA At least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting as Psychologist Experience and interest in the field of psychology for chronic health conditions including chronic pain.
