APS6 Implementation Lead, Clinical Governance
Our client, a large Federal agency, requires a part-time APS6 Implementation Lead, Clinical Governance to join the Digital Inclusion and Community Engagement team on contract until June 2021, with the potential for extension. This role will be based in Sydney CBD and pay $53.93 - $60.
84 per hour Superannuation. The Implementation Lead, Clinical Governance contributes to the activities aimed at ensuring Australia has a safe and robust digital health system through creating a safety culture for the organisation and embedding this culture in the broader corporate and delivery governance structures of the Agency. The position provides expert knowledge of clinical governance to support the implementation and advancement of clinical governance in the digital health context.
Working collaboratively and strategically with the Implementation Manager, Clinical Governance, this role requires confident relationship management skills, clinical risk management experience and excellent organisational capabilities. The ability to communicate with influence and adapt to the audience are also essential requirements for this role. Key Accountabilities: Proactively and strategically, support the implementation of clinical governance in line with the Clinical Governance Framework and the clinical governance obligations under the PGPA rule Advocating clinical governance through building relationships that enable clinical governance implementation Production of high-quality executive level deliverables aligned with expectations of established governance arrangements Proactively and strategically, support the ACSQHC clinical safety audit and review program in the context of clinical governance application across Agency products and services Supporting process maturity ensuring that Clinical Safety Review recommendations are addressed and tracked through to implementation or closure Key Requirements: Understanding of key issues for consumers and clinicians in relation to clinical risk management, quality and safety and ability to communicate key messages to significant stakeholders Ability to analyse complex and highly technical information and translate into clear communication to meet the needs of the target audience Ability to produce high quality executive briefs, submissions and reports Health experience, specifically contemporary experience of the Australian digital health sector Demonstrated experience in a safety and quality clinical discipline Experience in principles, processes, implementation and application of components of clinical governance such as safety and incident management Tertiary qualifications in a clinical discipline making them eligible for registration (essential); and Post-graduate qualifications (desirable) Please note this is a Federal Government position, which requires the successful candidate to undergo Pre-Employment checks and hold Australian Citizenship.
