Property and Projects Officer

Frontline HR are a privately owned and established in 2001, Frontline Human Resources operates across Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland employing over 35 full time staff servicing both small, medium and large enterprise. We are seeking an experienced Property and Project Officer for our client, a Local Council on Brisbane's Northside. The position commencing immediately, commences in an ongoing casual nature Monday to Friday 08:00 -16:00.

About the Role The Property and Projects Officer is responsible for optimising the commercial utilisation or community outcomes of Council land holdings in line with legislative requirements, and organisational and community expectations. Provide expert advice to the Property Services department on commercial property matters, land use and transactions and the utilization of Council land holdings. Engage and supervise a range of consultants as is necessary to deliver well researched and comprehensive business case documentation for consideration by council for disposal of surplus council land parcels.

Develop a strategic land disposal program for endorsement by council and facilitate the disposal of council land parcels to ensure that the return to ratepayers is maximised Investigate and action delivery models for attracting private sector investment for the development of council's strategic land holdings as determined by the strategic land disposal program. Skills & Experience Relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in a similar role requiring a similar skill set. Detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation relating to property acquisition, disposal, and leasing.

Demonstrated people and relationship skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, contributing to a positive work environment with a strong focus on provision of quality customer service. Excellent time management skills to achieve proficiency and effectiveness in managing conflicting priorities and meeting deadlines.
