As Procurement Manager you will be managing the logistics category, developing strategic sourcing initiatives to drive best commercial value for the business and reliable solutions to meet your customer needs. Description As Procurement Manager, Logistics you will be responsible for creating and managing all commercial supply arrangements for your logistics providers.
You responsibilities will include; Develop procurement strategic sourcing initiatives for the logistics category Define the category strategy and its objective to secure supply, rationalise supplier base and achieve optimal value savings Identify all the category spend drivers and provide analyses of spend behaviour. Undertake procurement risk assessments and consider due diligence activities with a robust risk management approach Manage the supplier life cycle, from contract management, supplier relationship management to contract end Monitor and report supplier contract KPI performance, compliance requirements, risks, issues and opportunities Profile The successful candidate for the role of Procurement Manager,will have deep expertise in the logistics category. you will have knowledge of product and service in both domestic and international markets.
In particular, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience of negotiating truck freight. Your skills will include: Strong negotiation and influencing skills The ability to independently manage multiple projects, track activities & meet deadlines.
