The objectives of this organisation is to work as part of this organisations multi-disciplinary team, to ensure they are a leader in the provision of therapeutic services across the Northern Territory Your new role Reporting to the organisation Director there are two positions vacant within this organisation: Speech Pathologist with 12 months of experience Working with a Multi-Disciplinary team you will support people with disabilities, Injuries and other debilitating health conditions. You will provide a range of different services from assessments.
Speech Pathologist Team Leader You will be managing the Speech Pathology section of the organisation. Working with a Multi-Disciplinary team you will support people with disabilities, Injuries and other debilitating health conditions. You will provide a range of different services from assessments, support and education to staff while having assistance of an experienced Manager.
You will set goals with clients and implement care plans to facilitate reaching these goals and provide exceptional consultation to your clients and their families and/or service providers. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Other key accountabilities include business development plans and liaising with external stakeholders and administrative tasks in line with NDIS documentation.
What you'll need to succeed Services include the support of children (0-12 years) adolescents (13-17 years) and Adults (18) at the centre, within their home and other community environments. Current Driver’s license and a willingness to drive is essential Use of own Vehicle in and around Darwin when required (when a work vehicle is unavailable) Operate from Darwin and Humpty Doo clinics Must be able to commit to some out of Hours work as required Must Maintain a minimum of 28 billable hours per week Be up to date with all required vaccinations (listed below) Current Criminal History Check and OCHRE card What you'll get in return Work in a growing organisation with room for exciting and developing health and wellness program.
