Work Location – TELOCA HOUSE 61 Bed Aged Care Facility, 120 Audley Street, NARRANDERA NSW 2700 We are looking to fill a number of positions: Registered Nurse The successful applicant will have the following attributes: Graduated from a Bachelor of Nursing Current practicing Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA Knowledge of the aged care industry, regulations and funding would be highly regarded Demonstrate a positive leadership style with the team, residents, families and other professionals Empathy towards the needs of the frail aged (dementia care included) is essential along with your passion for delivering high quality care Recreational Activities Officer The successful applicant will have the following attributes: Certificate IV in Lifestyle (desirable) Effective written and verbal communication skills Empathy and resident focused approach A positive, energetic and professional approach to work Experience in a Lifestyle Coordinator role in Aged Care will be highly regarded Care Service Employee The successful applicant will have the following attributes: Has minimum a Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent, or studying towards Experience in caring for the aged within a residential setting with the understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards Genuinely enthusiastic, caring and compassionate in your commitment to working with elderly people Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work hands on in personal care Flexibility to work AM/PM/Night shifts Catering Staff The successful applicant will have the following attributes: Excellent communication and organisational skills Cooking/Kitchen hand experience, preferably in aged care Previous experience in a commercial or busy kitchen role A certificate in food safety would be highly regarded Empathy with the needs of the frail aged Ability to work independently and as a member of a team If you have a genuine caring and compassionate nature and enjoy looking after the elderly and fit the criteria above ple.
