Your Opportunity To support clients and other staff in the provision of welfare support, in particular the provision of services to face homelessness and other related issues. Your key responsibilities will be to: Work with schools to support Individual educational needs and interests of students and provide advice and guidance on appropriate programs.
Respond to referrals of clients to the service from internal and external support services and offer referral pathways Facilitate workshops and programs that offer support to clients with a focus on Health and Wellbeing, Education, Employment and Housing Ensure all registrations for clients, including all necessary paperwork and application forms are input in MA Connect Use partnership programs to identify young people who may need additional support from CBYS Develop strong internal relationships with both service clients and staff initiate and develop strong relationships with stakeholders including other government and non-government agencies Requirements for Success A Degree or Diploma in Community Services, or an undergraduate degree in Education Case Management Experience Min 2 years Experience in programs design and facilitation Excellent technical ability and computer proficiency Senior first aid certificate or willingness to gain it is expected. Current driver’s license; Satisfactory criminal record check and Working with Children Check. Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
