This reliable lending firm has been offering their services to small and medium sized business enterprises across Australia for decades. Due to their growth, they are now in need of a seasoned Senior Finance Manager. This is a key role responsible to oversees the financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants and supports further development of the corporate finance department through the delivery of high quality financial services across the business.

Primary responsibilities Report to higher-ups Apply workflows and systems in accordance with business strategies and policies related to commercial banking/finance Be accountable for the financial health of the company Make financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research. Guiding senior executives in making sound business decisions in the long and short term. Oversee the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company Research and analyze financial reports and market trends Deliver insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making Evaluate financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation Ideally you'll have: Degree in Accounting/Finance or CPA equivalent with at least 15 years of relevant experience in accounting, business, economics, finance Able to perform under stress with critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal; Meticulous and well-organized What to do next To apply for this position, simply attach your CV in Word format by clicking on the Apply Now button.
