Zsa's Bar Bistro Deli is looking for a hospitality professional to take this new venue into the next stage of its already fast paced life Opening in July, Zsa's has hit the ground running with the retail section, the European style deli, and we are now gearing up to open the Bar & Bistro. We are looking for a food focused, hospitality professional to take on this Senior role, reporting directly to one owner.
Zsas is looking for a team leader with the following attributes Minimum 3 years experience in a senior management position (assistant managers encouraged to apply) Passion for quality food & beverage, with excellent cuisine and wine knowledge Have an attention to detail and commitment to perfect and professional service You will have worked in a high paced, busy restaurant or bistro Must have team management skills, and be kind, fair and supportive of the team Be experienced in developing sequence of service procedures, and overall venue operations Have experience in venue and equipment management and maintenance, including cleaning and repairs Strong knowledge and experience on operation POS Systems, in house system is square Have knowledge and skills to manage and maintain required COGS, operating costs & labour costs and can work your way around a spread sheet Create and manage a good strong team Be friendly, engaging and communicative with all guests, especially regulars Have a cool head and be able to take on feedback and able to workshop through challenges Not essential but extra ideals Deli, Salumi, Cheese & Retail Experience Have worked in European style venues before, predominantly Spanish, French, Italian Have completed a WSET accredited course.
