Experienced Cafe Chef
We are looking for a part time experienced cafe chef for our Cafe/Bakery to work alongside our current Chef/Baker to ensure a high quality of service and training for our apprentice and kitchenhands. We are a new cafe/bakery located in picturesque Hepburn Springs, 1.5 hours from Melbourne.
Opening in March 2020 as the sister venue to our restaurant Frank & Connie's Kitchen, we only had 2 weeks of trade before we were limited to takeaway only due to COVID-19. During many openings and closings (this is our 3rd 'opening') we have developed into a cafe with a strong bakery element. We now have a 'coffee window' which sells a ranges of house baked pastries, cakes and breads takeaway and an in-house dining menu which is fresh, seasonal and again focusing on house made whereever possible.
We are incredibly lucky to have a talented chef/pastry chef whom has been managing all the challenges of opening/closing/new menus etc. but now that we are open for dine in again, we are in need of another part time chef to assist with the work load. You will be working alongside our current chef whom will be focusing on the bakery side whilst you will be focusing on the cafe menu side.
We are hoping with the loosening of restrictions this position will become a full-time position.
