GRADUATE RESEARCH TEAM COORDINATORThe University of Melbourne
The Graduate Research Team Coordinator will be based in the Learning and Teaching Unit, reporting to the Manager, Admissions and Graduate Research Operations. The incumbent will lead a team of graduate research officers in the provision of accurate and detailed information and advice in relation to admissions and current candidature. The incumbent will also lead the team to administer the faculty’s graduate research course and scholarship applications as well as the faculty-level assessment of current candidature variations and milestone management.
The incumbent will develop, maintain and remediate where necessary effective relationships with MDHS Graduate Schools/Departments, Medical Research Institutes and Academic Services (University Services) to ensure high quality and timely delivery of services and lead the review and design of new student support initiatives to enhance the student experience. The Graduate Research Team Coordinator ensures client-focused services are of a consistently high quality, managing complex issues, coordinating team projects and developing and implementing improved administrative processes. The role requires high-level client service expertise and well-developed strategies for managing a diverse range of clients with different needs in a dynamic and complex environment.
