About us The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role The Project Officer is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Koori Family Violence Projects (KFVP) with a particular focus on supporting the Koori Specialist Family Violence Court model. The role includes providing administrative and project management support, to assist in the development of project planning and related documents such as project schedules, plans and reports, providing updates for internal and external stakeholders, and effectively promoting Koori Family Violence court initiatives to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members, service providers and broader stakeholders. The Project Officer is responsible for providing support on a wide range of project matters, including developing and maintaining project administration systems, preparing complex project documentation, building effective relationships with stakeholders, organising project meetings and assisting in risk and issue management.
