Operations Manager


An Opportunity for an emerging leader in the Support Services Sector to take their next step into management Your new company Our client is an established Townsville brand in the Support Services Sector, who has seen fast and positive growth in their service provision in recent years. Due to the expansion of their management and leadership team, they are in a position to employ an experienced operations professional with recent working experience in the Not for Profit Health Services Sector. Your new role Based in Townsville, and reporting to the General Manager, you will provide oversight in all areas of service delivery to ensure the provision of high quality services in a manner consistent with person-centred practices and compliant with all relevant legislation.

Your responsibilities will include: Oversee the intake and onboarding process for new participants Monitor and review the allocation and execution of resources across service delivery. Oversee the development, implementation, monitoring and review of positive behaviour support plans. Manage emergency situations in collaboration with the General Manager.

Engage with a range of stakeholders to ensure support needs of the participant are being met and monitor progress towards NDIS goals. Active monitoring of client satisfaction, identify and take action to ensure opportunities for improvement in service delivery are actioned. Oversee the external complaints process including complaint investigation and resolution.

Undertake regular stakeholder meetings Build networks, develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including participants, workers and members of the broader community. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in obtaining an interview for this position, you will need to posses the following experience, technical skills and personal attributes; Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and managing diverse teams in a fast paced and ever-changing environment in order to achieve outcomes. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Services or similar.

Significant knowledge and application of human rights and person-centred practice in the disability sector in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct, NDIS Quality Safeguarding framework, NDIS practice standards and other relevant legislation. Demonstrated initiative and a strong desire to achieve results whilst maintaining a professional work ethic. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

High level of self-awareness and ability to maintain composure under pressure. Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies Ability to use initiative, think outside the square and have persistence, drive and determination. Excellent time management skills, the ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities Experience in working with technology and software programs, including but not limit.
