Visits begin in early pregnancy and continue until the child is 2 years old. Nurses and/or Midwives and Aboriginal Community Workers work in partnership with women and their families delivering an intensive evidence based home visiting program. The Nurse Home Visitor (NHV) develops long term relationships with women and families living within 100km of Alice Springs supporting women to have healthy pregnancies, to learn about child health and development and to improve their life course.
