You will be responsible and accountable for all franchising, development & leasing processes as well as associated administrative responsibilities.

As the point person and go to, for all new and potential Franchise Partners and landlords, you are positive, engaging, and super organised Strong time management skills will be critical in this role as well as being agile, nimble, and can use initiative. As the Development Manager, your main responsibilities for this role include: Maintaining & Growing new store opening pipeline including tracking Research priority sites for Mad Mex via Gap Maps & other technology Vet new sites to ensure that they are profitable and meet key criteria Coordinating with landlords and key personnel to negotiate new sites and renewals Ensure that leasing documentation is accurate and filed via LEASE EAGLE Liaise with legal partners to complete leasing documentation (including renewals) Complete leasing administration Develop a strategy to build a strong new potential franchisee pipeline for Australia Assist in the development of International strategy and new partner acquisition Handle all aspects of new franchisee recruitment including sales Manage franchise advertising across all platforms and formats Manage the CRM System (ZOHO) Maintain status updates for leasing & franchising pipeline Play a key role in designing new formats for Mad Mex which allow brand growth About you As the first point of contact for potential landlords and franchisees, you must have a friendly & outgoing personality along with exceptional communication and negotiation skills – after all, you are an ambassador for the Mad Mex brand You are highly organised with a great eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease. You will have a leasing, franchise or legal background with substantial experience reviewing & understanding retail leases and other legal documents.
