Office Administrator We are Australia’s leading publisher of practical legal guides; written by lawyers, for lawyers. A team of over 45 legal professionals update content to reflect changes in the law and practice, ensuring our clients are working with the latest forms, precedents and matter commentary. We are currently looking for an Office Administrator to join our growing business.

The successful candidate will perform general office administrative duties as well as maintaining the IT and asset register and accounting tasks. Training will be provided for specialised tasks in By Lawyers website subscriber queries, cancellations and renewals. Duties and Responsibilities: IT and asset register: Coordinate and support inhouse IT requirements – liaise with LEAP IT.

Maintain the asset register. Manage IT and cyber-security training and compliance Accounting tasks: Preparing invoices Receiving and reconciling invoices to statements and submitting for payment Preparing commission reports Specialised tasks – with training provided: Manage By Lawyers website subscriber queries, cancellations, renewals Manage Mentor website subscriptions, queries, cancellations, renewals Maintain subscriptions e.g.

Law Societies, LawOne Monitor and update By Lawyers social media – LinkedIn and Twitter as directed Run website watcher Do broken links report Manage domains and mime cast Maintaining By Lawyers policies and procedures manual (Evernote) Prepare statistical reports Liaise, monitor and administer work conducted externally Create spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, etc Co-ordinate external events General administration: General office duties including phone, mail, ordering supplies Maintain petty cash Provide administrative support to senior management as required Requirements Attention to detail Attention to detail. Yes in twice as it is super important HSC or TAFE equivalent - minimum Keen to learn new things Excellent communication and time management skills IT experience and competency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Competency with LEAP Desktop would be highly regarded Confidence to carry out set tasks with minimal supervision but plenty of support Minimum 12 months previous experience in a professional services or corporate environment Legal experience would be highly regarded.
