Use your Account Management and Business Development skills to help us manage our Customer Accounts About the role The purpose of this role is to drive profitable growth through Business Development and manage a portfolio of our customer accounts in the Mining and Minerals industry. Based in our office in Canning vale, WA and reporting to the General Manager – Onsite and Bulk, you will be responsible for facilitating and capturing the best outcome for BOC by providing market intelligence/analysis and promoting strategies to drive bulk product sales while being a key interface for the bulk business to each local sales region you will be covering. Other responsibilities in this role include: Leveraging technical and industry knowledge to identify potential new opportunities Prospecting for new customers while growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio Match customer needs to BOC application technologies Managing overall accountability, service, delivery and financial performance for each contract in the specific market sector Build relationships with key decision-makers/stakeholders at multiple levels Review customer strategies in line with changing customer need to determine current and future opportunities for BOC Provide prompt resolution of customer issues Maintain a strong customer relationship and manage issues with the customer to provide the best customer experience through issues that may occur Strong commitment to safety maintaining a safe working environment and practice To be successful you will have: Proven experience and knowledge in price management (gross margin, mark-up, pricing, escalations and profit) In-depth knowledge of customer needs and technical expertise within the Mining sector will be highly beneficial Experience in industrial gases or related industry in an engineering or business development related discipline.
Business development and strong analytical and quantitative skills.
