Service technician Kitchen equipment
Provide consistent and timely response to restaurant general managers' maintenance and repair needs. Assist in construction of new kitchens, remodels, and equipment replacement. Essential Functions Perform preventive maintenance on all kitchen equipment, stoves ovens and refrigeration equipment Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance work on restaurant kitchen equipment and facilities.
Assist in installation, removal and transport of restaurant equipment and furniture. Purchase parts and equipment from approved outside vendors. Keep accurate records of all work performed on restaurant equipment.
Perform minor electrical and plumbing work where a licensed tradesman is not required. Available to work nights when necessary to avoid interruptions to restaurant operations. .
Other Functions Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Required Experience 5 years year of working on restaurant equipment and refrigeration systems. Electrical experience preferred.
Able to work with minimum supervision. Strong decision-making skills. Educational Requirements High school graduate or equivalent.
