The Position An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamc individual to join our team within Shared Support Accommodation (SSA) as Accommodation Manager and to help to make a difference in the lives of the people we support.
The Accommodation Manager provides leadership and management through the implementation of organisational mission and business objectives in line with the SJGA strategic and operational plans. This includes support of Service Delivery in a marketised environment and to operationalise the growth opportunities that the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) creates. Also responsibility for financial, risk and quality outcomes in the designated area of responsibility will also be a requirement of this position.
This position will be offered on a permanent ongoing basis, working 76 hours per fortnight. Leadership capacity and the ability to drive organisational development and change.
Excellent planning and organisational skills. Ability to interpret and understand statistical data (numerical and analytical skills). Demonstrated leadership capability within a complex environment.
Experience in operational management within disability support services. Good understanding of financial management and funding models. Ability to build constructive relationships with key stakeholders.
In depth knowledge of current legislation. Ability to implement and drive strategic direction. Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve team outcomes.
Diploma or Degree in Disability studies or relevant discipline. Current First Aid Certificate and valid Driver’s Licence.
