We are currently seeking applications from motivated and experienced Registered Nurses with a passion for delivering high quality patient care, and excellent interpersonal skills, to join our Medical and Palliative Care Unit.

As Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing optimal patient care. You will work in close collaboration with all members of the health care team including medical practitioners and allied health practitioners. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience and will be committed to ongoing education and self-directed learning.

The role is offered on a 12-month contract basis, working 45 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will have: A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care. Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.

Current understanding of legislation and standards related to OH&S, Compliance issues, Workcover Effective communication skills. Planning and organisational skills. Analytical and teamwork skills.
