About the role As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing services for internal and external clients of VMCH accessing programmes, within and external to VMCH Community and disability services. Working in partnership with the Allied Health team, you will develop and implement high quality person centred physiotherapy services aimed at supporting people to remain independent within the community. Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be: • To provide high quality person centred Physiotherapy service delivery with a diverse client group, including assessment and development of comprehensive goal orientated treatment and care plans, equipment prescription and report writing.
• Participate and contribute in care planning, treatment, review and discharge plans. • Provide current Physiotherapy resources, education, advice and information to clients/residents and team members • Promote the Short Term Restorative Care (STRC) programme and other related services to the VMCH and external markets with the aim of meeting and increasing service targets and departmental growth • Maintain and manage accurate and detailed service delivery records and reports in the data management system Skills & experience • Bachelor of Physiotherapy qualification with current AHPRA registration • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective and professional relationships, building rapport and liaising with relevant stakeholders • Professional verbal and written communication skills • High level computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook • Demonstrated ability to prepare briefings, case notes, reports and recommendations in a professional and considered manner • Current driver’s license Benefits As an employee of VMCH you will be provided with ongoing personal and professional development, career pathways opportunities, a positive and supportive workplace culture and excellent salary packaging benefits.
