Workers Compensation Claims Administrator

Location New South Wales, Sydney CBD


Workers Compensation Claims Administrator required in Mona Vale for a minimum of 6 months Your new company You will be working for a local council, with a large team and supportive manager. You will be primarily in the office but may have some opportunity to work from home once up and running. The organisation looks after a wide portfolio of services and you will be exposed to many industries, learn about Self-Insurance for Workers Compensation, Claims and Injury Management and Workplace Health and Safety.

Your new role You will be responsible for the administration of a busy team including self insured Workers Compensation Claims and Injury Management. Duties may include: Handling workers compensation payroll processes (medical invoices, payouts) Handling workers compensation mail, invoicing and documentation Drafting and sending letters to doctors, injured workers and other stakeholders for workers compensation Facilitating the Work Health Safety and Emergency Planning Committees (preparing documents, updating action logs, taking minutes) Providing support to the broader workers compensation, injury management and WHS teams on ad hoc requirements What you'll need to succeed You will be a self-starter, proactive learner, and quick to carry out responsibilities You will be looking for career (or want to get into) in Health and Safety, Workers Compensation or Injury Management in the work place You will be organised and able to follow instructions as well as capable of solving problems You will have experience in a similar role You will have intermediate to advanced Microsoft skills, and be confident in formatting documents You will confident in learning new systems (Microsoft SharePoint, SolvSafety, SolvInjury, TRIM) What you'll get in return A competitive hourly rate At least 6 months work, with potential for extension The opportunity to progress your career and learn about WHS, Workers Compensation and Injury Management processes in an immersive environment The chance to develop your networking and communication skills What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
