Liability Claims Consultant
CLOSER BRAVER FASTER The Role Business growth means we are recruiting for a Liability Claims Consultant to manage a high value, varied personal injury and property damage national portfolio of legal liability insurance claims. The role manages from lodgement through to completion, ensuring an optimum and efficient service to customers and maximising opportunities to ensure claims are managed to meet our customer and financial requirements within expected delivery timeframes. Key Responsibilities Manage strategically a portfolio of, high value litigated and non-litigated liability claims Utilise external services effectively as needed Delivery of exceptional service to customers Process claims in an efficient manner, adhering to financial/reserving principles Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships Support the achievement of IAG's objective of being a leader in the intermediated insurance industry Skills & Experience Solid knowledge and experience in the field of liability claims Policy coverage evaluation and factual and contractual liability analysis skills Experience in legal environment Skills in effective management of and instructing external service providers Customer service should be a strength including strong clear written communication skills Strong negotiation analysis and skills in both litigated and non-litigated matters Personal preference for a legitimate team orientated mind set About Us At IAG, we believe that everyone has a unique point of view to share, shaped by their life experiences, cultures & passions.
