Description Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited (ASX:SAR) is an ASX listed gold producer boasting a stable financial position, excellent infrastructure strategically situated in the world class North Eastern Kalgoorlie Goldfields of Western Australia, a strategic exploration program, and a proven Board/Management team focused on sustainable growth. We are currently seeking a Resource Development Geologist for our Thunderbox Operations. This position is responsible for assisting in the development of mineral resources and their conversion to reserves in preparation for mining.

This includes assisting in the execution of drill programs and advancing the geological understanding of the deposits through high quality observations, data capture and interpretations. Reporting to the Senior Resource Development Geologist, your main areas of responsibilities will include: Assisting with the effective management and execution of surface drill programs (Diamond and/or RC) Contributing to the improvement of geological models through high quality mapping, logging and robust interpretation of the data Providing all relevant information regarding each project to mine planning, environmental, metallurgical and mine geology teams to ensure projects are de-risked from all aspects of the business prior to mining Ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures, regulations and statutory requirements in order to minimise risk from both a business and safety objective Leading and mentoring Graduate Geologists and Geological Technicians, as required Ensuring all tasks are completed with due consideration to safety, the environment, heritage, statutory obligations and the efficient management of the companys assets and human resources Skills and Experience: Tertiary Qualification or high in the field of Geology Minimum 2 years ex.
