Work Days of the Role Monday-Friday Hours of Work of the Role 38 Description We are looking for an experienced Kindergarten Teacher to work full time in our 3-year old Kindergarten class. This room has a maximum of 16 children per day with the support of two full-time qualified assistants.
The kindergarten teacher will run the program from 8:00am-1:00pm and have non-teaching time from 1:30-4:00pm each day. At the end of the year, the 3-year old kindergarten educator team will move up with their class and run our 4-year old kindergarten in 2022. This position requires a candidate that has had previous experience working as a Kindergarten Teacher.
The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of this developmental stage, the important skills required to work collaboratively with families in providing the highest quality care to their young children, and the ability to network with external services and local primary schools. We have high expectations regarding the relationships that are formed between the children, families, and our local community. We believe that these collaborative relationships form the basis of a high-quality kindergarten.
We aim to provide a service that is an extension of the individual child's home, where families and educators work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes are achieved.
