With offices in Brisbane and Toowoomba, we provide a wide range of efficient well intervention, production enhancement, cementing and dewatering & completion services to oil and gas operating companies. We are a specialist team, and although we are a relatively new company, we have built a reputation on safety, efficiency, reliability, and innovation, which include the development and implementation of our own technologies. What are we looking for? Due to growth in our Operations, AUSCOIL is currently seeking expression of interest for an experience Field Specialist.

Reporting directly to the Field Service Manager, this role would be predominately site based, on roster in the Surat Basin. Your duties in this role will include, but are not limited to: Complete thorough inspections of the rig(s) to ensure that it meets compliance with all regulatory body standards; Preparing drawings, plans and designs for mechanical engineering work under the direction of Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists Complete daily reports of well history, noting any issues encountered, downtime and other circumstances as they arise; Update Operations and/or Rig Managers on any unusual occurrence or changes in the hole condition that could affect productivity or compromise the crew safety; Ensure that all company equipment is being operated for intended purposes and report any equipment misuse to the Operations/Rig Manager; Participate in any test to the equipment that is required during operations; Supervise and assist with rig down and rig up activities; Complete function test and pressure test on well control equipment; Monitor fresh and production water fluid levels; and Ensure that check list reporting is accurate at all time.
