In collaboration with the Maternity Services leadership team and Centre for Education team the Clinical Midwife Educator will ensure that services provided are focussed on respecting the rights, needs and expectations of patients and their family.
The position is for maternity leave cover October 2020 to June 2021 3 days a week, working within a team of Clinical Midwife Educators for the Centre of Education. The successfull applicant will require experience across the pregnancy continuum. We are seeking a Midwifery Educator who has the ability to utilise contemporary strategies, based on adult learning principles to effectively coordinate and facilitate educational activities within maternity service for all nursing/midwifery staff, transition to practice nurse/midwives and undergraduate nurse/midwifery students in the clinical setting.
