About the role The role of a Lifeguard is responsible for the supervision of water space as well as providing a high level of patron safety and strong customer service. The main purpose of this role is to provide supervision and preventative management of our members and guests within the Aquatic environment, including programs, bookings and casual users, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
We currently have a number of temporary seasonal opportunities to join our team for the summer season only. This will be from September 2020 to April 2021. Essential Criteria Pool Lifeguard Certificate (Pool Lifeguard Skill Set) Lifeguard License or ability to complete prior to completion of probationary period Current First Aid Certificate (including Provide First Aid, Provide Basic Emergency Life Support and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) A valid NSW Working with Children Check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated commitment to corporate values of Penrith City Council Desirable Criteria Experience in an aquatic / leisure / sport environment is desirable.
Aquatic Supervision qualification Pool Operations Certificate Commencing Salary: $52,679.00 per annum, plus 9.5% superannuation.
