Security Architect

Location Melbourne, 3000


We have been engaged by one of our partners to assist them in sourcing a suitably qualified and experienced Security Architect to undertake an initial 6 month engagement. To be considered for this engagement, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Experience in architecture roles, particularly in Security environments Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application and systems engineering concepts Hands on exposure to Data Centre environments/facilities, IT Service Management, Project Management methodologies and Service Delivery models Detailed knowledge of security tools, penetration testing techniques Demonstrated Security Architecture experience within medium and large Financial institutions Demonstrated experience in IT risk governance Consultancy skills demonstrated through the analysis, design and review of systems and roadmaps to transformation. Identity and Access Management; Strong understanding of network boundary protection technologies and protocols such as Firewalls, DDOS Protection, CDN Security, WAF, IPS and network access control & protection.

SIEM/Security Event Management. Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT security products, competitive offerings and market drivers Excellent, presentation, verbal and written communication skills Cloud security architecture experience across IAAS, PAAS and SAAS. Broad knowledge of business and IT processes including disaster recovery, business continuity and risk management.
