Senior Operations Officer
About this opportunity: Programmed Health Professionals have an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for something a little different in the aged care sector. Our client is seeking an APS6 Senior Operations Officer for a 6 month casual placement (potential for extension) , 38 hours a week , Monday to Friday. The National Operations team manage several streams relating to Aged Care: Administration: manage administrative support for National operational activities to meet the needs of the industry and support the Commission's vision, values and objectives.
Coordination and delivery: manage support to the Assistant Director Operations and team. Administrative Support: provide administrative support to meet the needs of the National Operations team as required. Relationship Management: Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships and respond to all enquiries and requests in a positive and timely manner.
Mentor other staff and share information for the purpose of ensuring knowledge transfer and consistency of understanding regarding the applicable standards, operating procedures and organisational goals. This position will start ASAP for the right candidate. What you will be doing: Undertake administration/operational tasks and responsibilities for the National Operations team Develop policy and operational documents for development and consideration by other team members Preparation and management of guidance material on policy and procedural changes Research and draft briefing documents for a range of audiences about legal, policy and procedural issues Interpret relevant legislation, standards and industry information Work effectively as a team member to accomplish organisational goals Manage relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders effectively and influence outcomes positively through those relationships, participating in those discussions and promoting strategic alliances Manage responsibility for Operational enquiries Support the broader work of the team and staff across the team and working cooperatively in virtual teams which may be located across any of the offices nationwide The role is based out of their head office in BRISBANE CBD.
