Programmed is currently recruiting for a highly skilled, energetic and flexible Mechanical Fitter to work with one of our clients in the Kempsey area. About the role: The purpose of this position is the provision of preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting as part of a manufacturing maintenance team. Ideally the successful applicant will possess the following skills and experience: Essential Skills / Experience for this position: Relevant trade qualifications & developed technical aptitude Strong mechanical fault-finding ability on high speed machinery and GMP Physical capability for manual handling A focus on continuous improvement & structured problem solving Proven ability to work with minimum supervision Demonstrated skills in industrial mechanical maintenance Experience in manufacturing/production environments Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-faceted team environment Demonstrated effective/ natural communication skills Have great numeracy, literacy, & communication skills An ability to multi-task & deliver repeatable accurate results A reliable team player and the ability to be flexible & adapt at short not Availability for shift work (including nights, weekends) and overtime Demonstrable skills and experience in relation to safety including risk management Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport Current employment references Available to start ASAP Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, alcohol and urine drug testing We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Fitter with a 'can do' attitude.
