Senior Business Analyst
Salary Package: From $105,298 to $117,167 (HEW Level 8) plus 13.25% employer's superannuation contribution and annual leave loading Appointment Types: Full-time, fixed term until December 2021 Location: Macquarie University, North Ryde The Role The Professional Services Transformation (PST) program is an initiative under the University 2020-2024 Operating Plan (Ways of Working) and is overseen by the University’s Executive Group. The program is aimed at transforming the delivery of professional support services to create more consistent and standard processes across key professional services and a more efficient professional staff support structure, allowing a better staff and student experience and reinvestment in the academic mission of the University.
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for conducting the end-to-end investigation, analysis, review, and documentation of business requirements to drive business improvement initiatives that underpin the PST program. About You You will have an extensive portfolio of work as a Business Analyst supporting strategic business improvement initiatives, preferably with organisation wide impact. You will have exceptional investigation and analysis skills with the ability to identify business requirements, efficiency, and gaps to deliver ‘to be’ business processes and procedures.
With strong interpersonal and communication skills, and extensive stakeholder management and facilitation, you will be able to quickly build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are motivated and driven by challenges in the delivery of transformational business solutions, and have a methodical and consultative approach in your work. Extensive experience as a Business Analyst working on multiple business improvement initiatives simultaneously to tight deadlines. Investigating and analysing business requirements to identify efficiency and gaps, and designing, mapping, and documenting ‘to be’ business processes and procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and facilitate effective conversations with clients and stakeholders. Experience in shared services implementation, value stream and value network mapping, and process and activity analysis. This position requires a Criminal History Check.
