Creative Projects Manager

The marketing team at the University of Canberra is seeking a Creative Projects Manager to help shape the creative vision of the University of Canberra brand. You'll lead the management of the in-house design studio team, made up of traditional, conceptual and new media designers. The studio team provides design and brand support to the wider university community and delivers a range of in-house marketing, campaign, advertising, digital, event, branding and communications services to support the University’s strategic objectives.
You'll need to be comfortable working under pressure and be confident providing feedback and creative insight at all levels. The role is perfect for someone who is passionate about creative problem-solving. About the position Lead, nurture and inspire a team of 4 creative designers Manage the art direction of design projects from conception through to realisation Act as the UC brand custodian and provide approvals and brand advice across a network of stakeholders Oversee the trafficking, resource allocation, feedback and production management of all design requests Be the custodian of the UC brand, ensuring the integrity of creative application across all channels Lead the conceptualisation of a variety of domestic and international recruitment campaigns Take a leadership role in the delivery of strategic creative projects, including marketing events, installations and activations Maintain a level of creative output by reflecting on best in market practices Manage budgets and relationships with external vendors including printers, merchandise providers, photographers and videographers The University offers excellent conditions and benefits such as flexible, family-friendly policies, on site gym, on site medical services, a supermarket and childcare facilities.
