The Position: The Environmental Services Manager has overall responsibility of waste management across a multi-site contract.
This role calls for a capable business leader who is people centric. Leading a large team in a challenging environment, resilience within yourself and your greater team is the key to success in this demanding position. Further, you will ensure that tasks associated with cleaning and waste are performed as per Health and Safety regulations and comply with contractual requirements of the site.
We would welcome applications from a broad industry base including not only Healthcare, but Hospitality and Tourism, Commercial and Industrial Cleaning and the Resource Sector. The Person: Demonstrated experience in meeting contractual requirements in a compliance framework Highly functioning planning and organisational skills with the ability to multitask Demonstrated ability in operating Departmental Budgets with a working knowledge of Profit & Loss and Strong Financial Acumen. Demonstrated experience managing a large team including but not limited to Leading Change and Performance Management.
Personable, and a team player who has exceptional communication skills and; Demonstrated experience with complex enterprise agreements and delivering contractual outcomes in an Industrial Relations environment Key Duties Manage the execution of safe and efficient cleaning operations across multiple sites Manage compliance of infection control policies and procedures, Follow Compass Group Health, Safety and Security procedures where applicable Lead, develop, and manage an effective team, including but not limited to rostering and managing client requests and feedback. Develop and maintain effective business relationships – including subcontractors Oversee the purchasing and management of stock and equipment Manage Department costs within allocated budget Data analysis and report generation across safety, productivity and financials for Client and Compass Group The successful candidate will be required to provide a Federal Police Check with 3 years validity and willing to obtain client required vaccinations.
