Protection & Control Engineer
Looking for a Protection & Control Engineer. This role is initially a 3-month assignment with a high possibility of being on-going afterwards. This role is initially going to be remote due to the current pandemic, but then the role is going to be based in Melbourne's CBD.
About You: You will be working on a range of electrical infrastructure based projects for a major energy organisation. They're looking for an experienced Protection & Control Engineer, who has prior experience with working on a range of substation projects. You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and delivering the engineering drawings for multiple simultaneous projects.
Requirements: Must come from a substation background with strong experience within transmission and distribution. Prior experience with tendering activities and interacting with internal and external stakeholders. Tertiary qualification in engineering.
Activities: You will be involved with providing innovative engineering solutions across a range of different projects. Managing engineering tasks across the project life cycle to ensure, quality, time and cost constraints have been met. Liaising with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders Control/Protection scheme review Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventative measures to avoid any potential project risks and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact.
