Your Opportunity We have an opportunity for an Administrative Officer to join Mission Australia on a casual basis. Working hours will be as required plus some week long periods for leave cover.
In this role you will be the first point of contact for both clients and visitors, face-to-face and over the phone and ensuring the efficient running of the Hedland office. Your key responsibilities will be to: Provide general administrative support to the Program Manager and other staff Answering phone inquiries to the office and directing calls Updating records, sending emails and completing correspondence for the office Complete administrative duties for the office including filing, basic purchasing and accounts work Requirements for Success Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Applications Excellent customer service skills and able to demonstrate a positive and approachable manner Strong communication skills both verbal and written Prior experience in community services ideally gained from working in the disabilities sector Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work Strong prior administrative and clerical experience Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, referee checks and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
