Your Opportunity A new Psychologist position has become available in our fun and dynamic team in Northbridge. This is a full-time role to provide clinical support to the AOD Outreach Hub team.

The Youth Alcohol and Other Drug Outreach Hub provide integrated AOD outreach, treatment and support for young people in the Perth Metropolitan area who are at risk of or are experiencing AOD-related mental health issues or other co-occurring complexities. Your key responsibilities will be to: Reviewing referrals for case intake Provide clinical advice on appropriate models of care for clients Manage a caseload of young people experiencing AOD related mental health needs Assess the need for referral of young people to specialist support Provide guidance and training to the AOD Outreach team Actively contribute to the development of the program Maintain the reporting requirements and manage client information and files Requirements for Success Tertiary qualifications in Psychology recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia. The position holder must or be eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Knowledge of theoretical and therapeutic frameworks that underpin assessment and intervention in the context of AOD-related mental health issues or other co-occurring complexities. The ability to perform clinical work that includes emotional, cognitive and educational assessments. Experience in working with children and families from different backgrounds Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
