Your Opportunity Stuart Lodge is a specialist homelessness service in Alice Springs for individuals and families who are at risk of, or currently experiencing, homelessness. This position will provide assistance to participants in the provision of holistic, client centred case management services to both individuals and families to achieve sustainable tenancies Your key responsibilities will be to: Work with participants to create and manage individual goals including referral to supplementary services as needed.

Undertake a range of case management duties to support the development of clients including referrals and support letter, interaction with other service providers, appointment setting and advocacy internally and externally. Work with the Case Manager to provide intensive ongoing case management sessions (formal and informal) with participants and review progression against individual goals and provide informal counselling as required. Develop internal relationships with clients and other staff to contribute to the effective functioning of the service and improved outcomes.

Develop relationships with key external stakeholders including other service providers, community service workers, government agencies etc. to assist in the receipt of information and referral of clients. Requirements for Success Previous experience in a similar role Computer Literacy Current Driver License Senior First Aid certificate or willingness to gain it is expected.

Experience working with Aboriginal people from remote communities would be desirable Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
