Due to recent growth and a strong sales pipeline our client is looking to continue this growth through a newly created position of Account Manager APAC. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing an account management strategy to deliver contract renewal, account growth and account health objectives. You will be responsible for the company's production drilling technology businesses which is predominantly involved in improving stope economics in the underground hard rock sector to delivery more accurate and consistent drilling outcomes.

Client Details Our client is an advanced technology company that specialises in improving the accuracy, reliability and economic efficiency of Production and Exploration drilling operations in the mining industry. Description Key responsibilities of the role include however are not limited to: Develop and implement proven account management strategies in order to maximise contract renewals and account growth this includes account mapping and planning Conduct quarterly meetings with key stakeholders both on site and in head office to provide value reconciliation - this process will support contract renewal rate by demonstrating the value our client's technologies deliver Become ingrained with your client's site by creating and identifying opportunities for account growth and new business Become the primary point of contact for clients as the "go to" person for any support Monitor and report on the health of each client and act on any potential opportunities, threats or trends forming Establish and maintain key relationships within your accounts including mine managers, mining engineers as well as commercial relationships in head office Work closely with the VP APAC to close contract renewals and maximise account growth opportunities Develop strong relationships internally across our client's business, working extremely closely with the engineering team in terms of product pipeline and client support Profile You will have the following experience in order to be successful in the role: Significant mining account management experience based around creating and implementing key account management plans to achieve continual customer growth A career within the mining sector with a focus on the hard rock underground drill & blast market An active network within miners and mining contractors dealing with key stakeholders both on site and in corporate such as mine managers and senior mine engineers Relationships with mine managers across both the local WA and wider APAC market having the buy in and respect to leverage these relationships and value sell our clients solutions A strong understanding of mine operations and the underground mining process, this will allow you to provide appropriate solutions with both existing products and to help with product pipeline A mine engineering or technical background is ideal in order to develop these solutions Mining technology (METS) experience is essential as our.
