PURPOSE OF THE ROLE As a result of growth, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to support the Brand, Marketing and Communications team, on initially a 12 month fixed term contract starting as soon as possible. The purpose of this role is to support the industry teams in the creation and activation of profiling, lead generation and client expansion activities while also supporting the Line of Business' on multi-tactical marketing campaigns, new business activities (ie tenders), and maintenance of marketing systems and processes. JOB DESCRIPTION The role will have business development, marketing and account management functions, and your duties will include: Working with the Industry Leads/LoBs and teams on the development of their marketing strategy, setting objectives and developng out marketing campaigns/programs that supports Industry/LoB profiling, lead generation and revenue growth objectives Developing and editing strategic content, thought leadership, and strategic communications and packaging this into GTM initiatives Project managing, editing and liaising with LoB partners on tender opportunities and supporting content credentials Maintaining and creating marketing systems and templates (ie case studies, bios, website content) Working with a LoB resource on a range of new business and marketing activities for LoB partners Briefing and liaising with the Firm's external media relations resource Assessing, negotiating and activating sponsorships/partnerships Contributing ideas and support on website presence and other digital opportunities linked to strategic comms, campaigns and activities Familiarising and being aware of industry insights gained from clients, thought leaders, and reported market activities and bringing insights and learnings to the teams and to the programs Briefing and co-ordinating the resources of the larger Brand, Communications and Marketing team in the activation of marketing programs and project managing the team effectively to bring the programs to market Co-ordinating meetings/briefings with Industry/LoB Marketing Leads and Partners on the status and performance of the marketing strategy and supporting activities Establishing and agreeing on campaign and marketing program KPIs for future learnings Keeping Internal Communications aware of campaigns for internal profiling and team recognition Supporting LoBs on the development of multi-tactical marketing campaigns and co-ordinating the relevant BMC resources Negotiating and managing sponsorships and partnerships relevant to Industry and LoBs.
