About your opportunity The primary function of the position is to provide high quality clinical care to patients who are referred to the Palliative Care Service of the Townsville University Hospital. Participate in the ongoing development of Palliative Care Services within the Townsville University Hospital and the surrounding Health Service of North Queensland In addition, the Registrar will provide supervision of junior medical staff, including some responsibility for providing teaching to junior medical staff and medical students.
A Comprehensive post graduate training program is conducted at the Townsville University Hospital. Advance Life Support Certificate is desirable and will need to be completed upon appointment if not previously held. Degree Qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution and hold Current Registration as a medical practitioner or eligible for Current Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Successful completion of at least two years post-registration training. Remuneration package of up to $12,839 p.m.
