Stock Co-Ordinator - Oil & Lubricants
Our client is a global manufacturer of oil and lubricants for the automotive and industrial applications industries. They are trusted for their high performance and quality of manufactured products and have been maintaining their brands commitment to specialization, innovation and collaboration. A rare opportunity has arisen for a Stock Co-ordinator to join their team based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
The role will require effective control of goods from the point of manufacture to the distribution to main 3PL warehouses. Monitoring inventory throughput as it comes off the production line for the allocation to relevant warehouse locations, local and interstate. Liaise with Global Business Services and manifest / invoice outbound product.
Provide assistance to 3PL with inventory management. Support Inter-Facility Coordinator with distribution resource planning. Duties Include: - Maintain effective control of goods from manufacture point to distribution; - Monitor output as it comes off the production line and then allocate to the selected warehouse; - Support your supervisor with distribution resource planning; - Reverse logistics from main 3PL for SKU decant into small packs; - Arrange and process documentation for waste removal; Essential criteria: - Demonstrate at least two years' experience in inventory management and a production environment.
- Experience in warehouse management principles and use of JD Edwards / SAP. - Ability to work with minimum supervision and continually prioritise and plan work activity - WH&S awareness applicable to plant/ warehouse operations - Current LF Forklift licence.
