About the Role Reporting into and working closely with the HR Leader, this role will take responsibility for the management of all employee and industrial activity.
Leading on any negotiations and managing union relationships, this includes the management of multiple agreements across a multi-site blue and white collar workforce. Initially you will need to get into the detail of some longstanding agreements and make changes where needed to support the future needs of the business. While this role will be the ER & IR specialist in the business, it will also support the business on the wider HR initiatives and projects so requires someone with the right blend of IR and Generalist HR, coupled with exceptionally good relationship building skills.
This will include: Managing and supporting bargaining, including agreement drafting and participating in negotiations Driving key employee/industrial relations strategy, projects, and initiatives Assisting in the delivery of training and education sessions to build leaders, capability in industrial relations About You You will be pragmatic, detailed, and self-directed. Your career to date presents you as an ER/IR specialist with experience working with multiple industrial agreements. You have worked and supported operational workforces with a mix of blue and white collar, your industry experience will align to infrastructure, construction or similar.
You have had positive union relationship, are technically astute but agile in your thinking and open to what is possible.
