Compliance Officer (Field Audits)

Your new role We are seeking an enthusiastic, high performing Compliance Officer to join our Code Operations team in Sydney, where you will have a real opportunity to make a difference in the industry to ensure employers are compliant with workplace laws and their obligations.
You will primarily be responsible for undertaking proactive and reactive field audits to assess compliance with the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016. You will also have an opportunity to deliver education sessions to industry participants. You will need demonstrated experience conducting investigations and/or audits, the ability to interpret and apply the law, and be able to deal with conflict in a professional manner.
If you are an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who has strong communication skills and works well both individually and as a team member, coupled with the ability to think outside the square to drive innovation and improve operating procedures, you will excel in this role. You must be prepared to travel interstate (dependent on travel restrictions) periodically for operational training or to conduct audits. You must also hold a current driver's licence and have the ability to obtain a general construction induction card (White Card).
