Allied Health Assistant
Permanent Part Time - 50 hours per fortnight Townsville $23.42 per hour (FTE $46,278) 9.5% Super NFP Salary Packaging We’re currently seeking applications from motivated Allied Health Assistants to join our team in Townsville Your role You’ll provide holistic, specialised care under supervision from one of our senior Allied Health Professionals to enhance and promote the independence and wellbeing of our clients in line with best practice.
You will be knowledgeable about contemporary theories and technology and be driven to gain valuable experience in community health or the aged care sector. This will include, but will not be limited to: Working across Residential and/or Community environments, supporting clients with direct tailor-made care Supporting the implementation of Allied health interventions, treatment plans, programs and services for individuals and groups to promote a more independent lifestyle Liaising with other healthcare professionals, such as GPs, nurses and Allied Health professionals to ensure detailed and specific care plans are formulated and monitored We’ll look after you too Whether we’re on the road, in people’s homes or in our centres, everything our dedicated and passionate team of more than 8,000 people do is built on our commitment to recognising individuals while enabling independence, choice and freedom.
