Well established and growing organisation looking for an experienced Payroll Officer with Chris21 experience About the role Payroll Officer required to join the finance team on a temporary to permanent basis. This role will be suited to someone who has a passion for payroll, can work part of a team with strong payroll processing and Chris21 experience. The Responsibilities Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a large team, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties: Collect, calculate, and enter data in order to maintain and update payroll information (e.
g. processes new and terminated employees); Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave and non-taxable wages; Resolve payroll discrepancies and payroll queries, escalating complex issues on a timely basis; Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; Assist senior payroll team members with reconciliation and month end procedures and payroll reporting to meet statutory obligations; Develop ad hoc financial and operational reports as needed; Maintain filing and archives payroll information on a regular basis.
