Residential Transitions Manager - Disability
The Organisation: Our client is an industry recognised Disability Support Services Organisation. Quality certified and a registered service provider to DHHS and NDIS, they take pride in delivering client centred service provision to people with significant, complex and dual disabilities. The Role: The Residential Transitions Manager – Disability is a newly created role, that will take accountability for developing, implementing and reporting on a SIL Services Housing Plan which incorporates existing client transition requirements and reflects the business’ ongoing strategic growth plans.
Using your significant knowledge of the NDIS and SIL/SDA service provision you will work collaboratively with internal and external key stakeholders, offering adaptive short, medium and long term accommodation solutions to existing and future participants within a complex legislative environment. Reporting to the Executive Manager, and with one direct report (Project Officer) you will: Develop and implement a SIL Services Housing Plan Provide continuous improvement methodology on governance and leadership strategies Identify, analyse and support the transition of NDIS participants into vacant SIL service options Undertake key stakeholder engagement with NDIS area coordinators, planners, allied health professionals and family services representatives Establish emergency and short-term accommodation service plans Establish clear service delivery expectations for reporting and adherence to business policy and procedures Collaborate with relevant managers and coordinators on the operational efficiency and continuous improvement of existing & future SIL/SDA services The Person: You’ll be driven and passionate about building capability within your team. In addition, you possess: Tertiary Qualification in disability or other appropriate tertiary qualification relevant to working in the Disability/NDIS Sector Significant experience and knowledge of NDIS and Specialist Disability Accommodation Experience in accommodation services in Disability/NDIS sector Significant experience in a leadership position within a community services organisation Experience in working collaboratively with key stakeholders The Offer: The Residential Transitions Manager – Disability position is offered on a permanent basis at a competitive commercially equivalent salary circa $130K package.
