We are looking for a Commercial Manager business partner to support our customer service leadership team ASAP Opened to Sydney location.
The Commercial Manager, Service will play a pivotal role in driving commercial acumen and accountability within the service teams by designing and building a segmented P&L model and then partnering with operational management and senior leadership teams to optimise performance; providing effective strategic and operational analysis that clearly identifies the underlying value drivers of the business and demonstrating thought leadership and insight relating to CX, sales, retention and financial performance across all service groups. The role will be the key Commercial conduit between sales, service, CVM, collections, and commissions teams to ensure commercial grade reporting & insights, and alignment of targets and forecast assumptions with the Consumer Branded P&L. The scope of the role requires the successful candidate to have a high degree of skills in financial reporting, data analytics and problem solving.
As the role will interface between a broad range of stakeholders, exceptional communication and coordination skills are a must. About you: You are motivated, inquisitive, self-starter who can challenge traditional thinking and build strong cross-functional relationships to bring people along the transformation journey. Other preferred skills and experience include: Degree qualified in a business / commercial discipline with professional accounting qualifications i.
e. CA / CPA Minimum 5 years’ experience in Commercial / Financial management roles, with exposure to both accounting and business partnering Proven ability to communicate and present financial results and analysis to an executive level audience Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail, demonstrating a high degree of commercial acumen Understanding of core financial and operational reporting structures and ability to source data and convert into useful information Ability to use data, analytics and insights to drive performance Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills About us At Optus, we don’t sit back and let the future happen to us – we’re out there making it.
