Contract / Operations Manager (Facilities Management)

Base Criteria At least 8 years experience within a Facilities Contracts / Operations Management function, along with 5 years managerial experience gained within Australia ideally supporting large contracts: – technology, corporate, housing, tertiary education, healthcare, prisons, aged care or defence.
Strong commercial awareness and skills having managed a budget in excess of $5M. Outline Duties Managing and overseeing the P&L, contract commercial performance improvements and delivery of services in-line with Contractual and Service level Agreements. Dealing with a large number of stakeholders; you will be a strong communicator, a people-person who will be responsible for the management, guidance and oversight of direct delivery and sub-contract services, ensuring that best practice Facilities Management Solutions are implemented.
Undertaking site walk-rounds, inspections, inductions, sub-contractor management and full stakeholder engagement, you will have excellent verbal and written English communication skills and a stakeholder-centric manner. Skills and Attributes Commercially astute to manage budgets and commercial obligations under the agreement. Leadership, management and coordination of all aspects relating to the direct and sub-contract Facilities Maintenance Services and subcontractors.
Deliver Facilities Service Contract Services that include cleaning and grounds along with planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities for building fabric, MEP, specialist subcontracted services & systems and FF&E. Provide regular reporting (Weekly, Monthly, Annual, P&L) to all stakeholders covering service delivery, planning and scheduling, and KPI reporting. Responsible for the overall delivery and growth across Integrated Facilities Services Contracts and associated HSEQ policies, procedures and systems that support a safe and professional work ethic.
